About Me

I'm Olivia Choi & a

I'm a passionate computer science student based in BC, Canada. Currently, I am pursuing a BSc degree at the University of Victoria. I am deeply interested in Cloud Engineering and DevOps ,with a strong focus on building scalable, automated systems in various environment.

Through my industry Co-op (internship) experiences, I've worked on hands-on with cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows, contributing to systems that support real users and business needs.

Here are a few highlights from my experience:

☑︎ Interned as a Software/DevOps Engineer, working on CI/CD pipieline automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud operations using AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and monitoring tools.

☑︎ Improved developer and build workflows by migrating legacy pipelines, implementing caching strategies, and automating repetitive opearational tasks.

☑︎ Collaborated closely with engineers across teams, contributing to code reviews, technical discussions, and agile delivery in a fast-paced environment.

☑︎ Applied cloud best practices in security, infrastructure design, and scalable deployment patterns.

I'm movivated by learning through hands-on experience and enjoy solving real-world problems with technology. I'm excited to continue growing as a cloud and DevOps engineer while contributing to impactful, innovative projects.
